Alista 1.5.0
Hey Everyone!
Kid Allista - Face ON version is to be out today!
I completely reworked UI so that it’s bottom-centric, usable only using your thumb (or whatever finger you favor :).
Ads are gone as well - not that they ever were there reliably… But she’s completely ad-free, so that you can have an uninterrupted experience with your device.
The limit to GPT integration usage has been raised as well, from three to five prompts a day. Subscription has been made cheaper too, to a measly two dollars a month - now everybody should be able to afford it. Can’t go any lower… That value is computed by Google, so it’s an approximation.
You have more control over your notifications with the addition of the new notification center. Those are classified as missed calls, messages, emails, and the rest of the huge amounts of notifications we all get. Or at least I do…
Alista can also do some more things…
You can ask her for a reminder - she will say out loud the thing you want at the time you set. Don’t turn her off while doing that, because she won’t remember.
Another function she has is that you can ask her to summarize your calendar events for the next set number of days. This is a fun feature and also pretty handy, as some of us might have a great number of events, and that could get messy to navigate through.
This UI overhaul is to be the final face she has, until she doesn’t. But don’t expect too much change on this front. I will be focusing on functionality from now on, and mainly bugfixes, since I’ve noticed some of you had some issues (with the app) that I would like to take care of.
I’m really happy with the results, and it feels much more complete now than ever before. The only two things you can’t really do there are widgets and brightness settings. The rest of the Android functionality should be there, as far as I know. Should any of you find out some crucial function is missing, don’t hesitate to let me know about that. Will be glad for any kind of input from you.
I really do hope Alista will make your life and interaction with your hand-glued device simpler and more seamless. Adding to your chill and maybe letting you shift your gaze from screen to life a bit more.
Have fun Everyone! Keep it light. <3
