Alista 1.3.3

Version Welcome Home is out now! This marks a real milestone, where you can talk with Alista, instead of just texting, and you can have her as your Home Screen. It all already saves tons of time in device interaction, and I feel like I have just better control.

Of course, I encourage y’all to try it, but really, it’s nice.

So there were some fixes in a few places, including some UI and ads, but other than that, the biggest three features are Premium (with 7 7-day trial), Voice interaction with Alista, and Home Screen settings.

In chat with Alista, in the most expected place is a microphone positioned, and you can click it, and you can talk right away. Sorry, I did not show better that you should talk already - it’s on my list. I think :D The voice is captured in the language of the device, and you can go ahead and talk however you want, but other languages than the phone’s are not recognized well yet. Alista will answer you with a really robotic voice, but in the language of the phone as well, so it doesn’t sound too bad. Should you all like the whole thing, I’m gonna do my best to make her voice HERS. Somehow….

When it comes to the Home Screen, that’s just great. The whole app really does cover for the default Android well, and since I use that every day, I think it’s good enough. There’s nothing I couldn’t do that I could in a stock solution, except for widgets. We don’t have those there (yet). You can set it up in the settings part of the Alista app, and it’s under the Home button.

There’s also a Premium subscription, which will raise your Alista chat limit from 3 to 50 a day, with no ads. It’s for give or take 5€ a month.

Keep yourself posted - I have very much in stock for this app and got some nice Ideas. ;)
